Free Shuttle to Entertainment District Circuit Makati Offered to the Pub

Circuit Makati offers a more convenient way of discovering the city’s newest entertainment district via its free shuttle service. Covered in graphic novel-like designs, the coasters will be hard to miss as it travels along its set route.

The shuttle takes riders to Circuit Makati from several pick-up points within the Ayala Center and Makati CBD. The service runs Mondays to Fridays from 4 to 8 pm. and starts its journey from the main station at the Hotel Intercon open car park (near the Ayala MRT station). Going to Circuit Makati, the shuttle also fetches passengers from the loading areas near Ayala Triangle Gardens, Smart Tower, and Zuellig Loop, Circuit Makati’s transport terminal, and Circuit Lane. Conversely, from Circuit Makati passengers are dropped-off near Glorietta and the BPI Head Office, before heading back to the main station.

“This is one of the ways we are linking passengers to new developments in the city, and it is part of our objective to provide convenience to those who want to explore the different offerings of Circuit Makati,” said Manny Blas, Ayala Land Inc. Vice President and Project Development Head for Makati. Circuit Makati, one of the six nodes included in the 125-billion over-all plan for the city’s revitalization, showcases some of the most exciting entertainment venues, such as Globe Circuit Events Ground –home to various music festivals all year round—and several outdoor facilities such as the Gatorade Chelsea Blue Pitch, the Mountain Dew Skate Park and City Kart Racing.

Recently, the two-storey Circuit Lane opened featuring new initial offerings such as dining outlets Torch, Backyard, and Steveston Pizza, as well as a Power Mac Center and Nike store. Slated to open this October are Miracle Art, Palm Corned Beef Corner and Seafood Island. The retail strip is likewise home to Power Mac Center Spotlight, a 300-seater black box theater that is currently showing #NoFilter 2.0 by Sandbox Collective and will be showcasing Maria Isabella by Bit by Bit Productions in December.

The free shuttle ride aims to provide the public easier access to the trendiest shows and the hippest entertainment places that Circuit Makati has to offer. For more information, visit www.makeitmakati.com/circuit-makati.

Airport Shuttle Bus from EDSA to NAIA 1 to NAIA 4

Going to the airport in Manila is not easy if you do not have your own transport. Most of the time you have no choice but to take taxi and whenever taxi cab drivers hear NAIA, the rate becomes expensive. They always ask for additional fee or fixed rate. Of course passengers have no choice but to take it because they do not want to miss their flight. I also have my own experiences of that.

It is good to know that starting tomorrow, October 9, 2015; Victory Liner can take you to the airport (NAIA 1 to 4) from its Pasay Terminal. The rate is P20 per person and from 5AM to 10PM with one hour interval. You now have a new option if you are coming from Pasay.

Philippines Travel Mart Experience

PHILTOA has been promoting the Philippines tourism, culture and heritage for the last 26 years through Philippines Travel Mart. It is an expo participated by different companies, local government unit, travel agencies and Department of Tourism.

Senior Citizens first

Last September 4-6, 2015 was the 26th Philippines Travel Mart with its theme Philippines “The Fun Capital of Asia”. We went in SMX last September 5 to look for exciting deals and promos.

Entrance Fee is P50 each.

There were so many affordable travel packages, seat sales and exciting deals from different companies and travel agencies but since our budget is limited, we just focused in our priority, buy luggage and book a trip or staycation for my son’s 7th birthday.

What I like in Phillipines Travel Mart?

1. It is like a one stop shop where you can see different airline companies, travel agencies, hotels, resort and other booths that offer big discount for your travel needs.

2. The airline seat sales are really affordable, there are P99++ per way to Batanes of SkyJet, P300 all in fare of Air Asia, P500 roundtrip domestic destinations of Cebu Pacific and cruising deals from 2GO.

3. There are travel packages that includes roundtrip airfare, accommodations and tour at a very low price both domestic and international trip.

4. Bags and luggages are on sale up to 50% and 70% discount.

5. You will discover new resorts, hotels and places in the Philippines.

6. There are so many fliers, brochures and freebies that you can take home.

7. You can see different booths that showcase their tourist spots. SO parang nakalibot ka na rin sa Pinas. hehehe!

Visit Philippines Travel Mart if you really love to travel or if you are planning for a vacation or staycation so you can score exciting deals. We’re happy that we were able to reserve a hotel for my son’s 7th birthday. After booking, they gave us free 2 boxes of yummy chocolate and 2 free umbrella.

What Brands are Filipinos Buying Online?

Brands have become an essential consideration in making purchase decisions. Lazada- the Philippines’ One-Stop Shopping and Selling Destination is no stranger in understanding consumer behaviour towards brands specifically in the online retail space. In a study conducted by Lazada on which brands Filipinos buy online, Penshoppe, ASUS, and Cherry Mobile showed strong affinity with online shoppers evidenced by local Google search results as well as search and sales within the Lazada website and mobile app. Camera brand Canon and power tool brand Bosch remains to be popular among consumers aged 55 and above. The rest of the findings are illustrated in the infograph as below.

Lazada through its Marketplace Platform, works in partnership with the biggest local and international brands to provide Filipinos with a large assortment of products across electronics and lifestyle categories. "The number of consumers looking to buy beauty products online is increasing, so partnering with Lazada seemed to be the best way to expand into the online shopping space,” says Khristine Santos, Customer Development Manager of Belo Essentials. “We regard Lazada as the most trusted e-commerce company in the Philippines and as a consumer brand, consumer trust is very important for us to grow. It allows us to easily track results and we are able to develop a better understanding of our online market,” Santos of Belo Essentials added.

Mr. William Go, Country Sales Director of Bosch, Inc., the global brand specializing on power tools and home improvement equipment regards Lazada as “the biggest e-commerce and now one of the fastest growing distribution channels of Bosch Power Tools. With its [Lazada’s] wide range of customer reach, attractive promotions, product assortment and availability, it has managed to cater effectively and successfully to the needs and wants of customers all over the country. It is now one of the most trusted online dealers carrying the number one power tool brand globally in Bosch power tools.

”This September 15-17, Lazada, together with its brand partners, is staging its first Brands and Sellers’ Showroom (www.lazada.com.ph/brands-and-sellers-showroom) - offering exclusive discounts of as much as 80% on select bestselling items across all categories- both available on desktop and in the Lazada Mobile App.

The Brand and Sellers’ Showroom aims to showcase Lazada’s most-loved brands at their best prices. Participating also in the Brand and Sellers’ Showroom is Alcatel where the Alcatel Flash Plus will be holding its last sale of the Alcatel Flash Plus at PhP 6490.
